Privacy Policy
Draft for development. Final wording will be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run your account and moderate content: your email, display name and the content you post. Your email is never shown publicly.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and verified email address from Google. We don't get your Google password.
Location and maps
We ask for your location only when you choose a “Near me” feature, and we don't store it. Map images come from a map tile service, which receives standard web request data (such as your IP address) when a map is shown.
Your choices
You can delete your account yourself at any time from your account page (Account → Delete account), or ask us to do it by email. Deletion removes your profile, reviews, saved places, lists and business access.
Visit statistics
We count page views and actions like “Call” or “Directions” as daily totals per business, so owners can see how they're found. We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we don't build visitor profiles. To avoid double counting, a temporary fingerprint of your connection is kept in memory for 30 minutes and never stored.
Cookies
We use only necessary cookies: to keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery, and remember your language.
Business owners
Documents you send to prove ownership of a business are stored privately, seen only by our moderators, and deleted 90 days after a decision.
How long we keep data
Account data: until you delete your account. Read notifications: 180 days. Server logs: 30 days. Daily statistics and search terms: 3 years. Records of moderation decisions are kept to protect the integrity of reviews.
What we never share
Your email, phone number, IP address and verification documents are never shown publicly or sold.
